I would ask that all RMHS directors put forward a nominee for The RMHS Youth Breeder Of the year award to be announced at the state convention in March
All Nominee's must be received prior t March 1, 2009

Hi Jerry,
This is great. I'm wondering to help out the clubs in determining their nominee, do you have some basic guidelines for what the clubs should consider? In some cases you have kids that are wonderful exhibitors and it shows on the show tables, but then you have kids that may not exhibit much, but you see them working behind the show tables, volunteering to help other youth, helping out at State Conventions, State Fair and in their 4H clubs, etc.
Are the clubs limited to just a single nominee, or can there be multiples? I assume that since each club has a nominee that the nominee doesn't have to be a member of that specific club?
Thanks, Brian

To be a little more specific and to try and answer your questions.
1. Must be a member of RMHS 2.Looking for those youth that go above and beyond the show table however that should be up to the director's making the nomination. Knowledge of rabbits Willingness to get involved Works behind the scenes at shows and/or other rabbit events. 4H, Showmanship, judging Jerry

Jerry asked that I add the following to the basic guidelines. Please have your Youth nominees submit this along with your club nomination to Jerry by March 1st.
o For those youth that are nominated, please write up why you feel you are deserving of this award, including your accomplishments, club affiliations, activities, and specific things that you do to help promote rabbits within and outside of RMHS, as well as anything else that you'd like to share. Your written presentation will help those that will make the final decision for this award get to know you better.
Thanks, Brian
