I don't think that RMHS membership requires members to also belong to an RMHS Affiliated/Chartered club, unless a member resides outside the state of Colorado?
I wonder if that should be changed as it doesn't really promote people to get involved with at least one Colorado RMHS Affiliate Club? RMHS relies on these clubs heavily as they are the ones that organize and finance the shows that we all attend. It's generally the members of these clubs that, organize, set up, run, tear down & clean up the show itself, although there are a number of others that graciously volunteer their time.
Having people involved in these clubs also helps get member involvement and direction in a club and how each is operated as well as generates new ideas and creativity, and helps better our hobby. I realize that this might be another $8-$15/year that an entire family might have to spend to belong to a club, but really that's what most of us spend as an entry fee for 4-5 rabbits at a show.
What do you think?
Respectfully submitted, Brian Allen
